On this page we inform you which personal data we collect when you use our website, why we collect this data and what we do with it. This privacy statement applies to the websites of Londen & Van Holland Registeraccountants en Belastingadviseurs and Londen & Van Holland Bedrijfsjuristen (hereinafter referred to as Londen & Van Holland). Londen & Van Holland is not responsible for the privacy policy of other sites and sources that are mentioned on our websites.

Purposes

We do not collect or use your personal data for purposes other than those described in this privacy statement, unless we have obtained your consent for this in advance.

1. Use of our services

When you use our services, we ask you to provide personal data. This data is necessary in order to be able to deliver the service and is retained by Londen & Van Holland in accordance with the statutory retention period.

2. Communication

When you send us an e-mail or other messages, these are stored in our archives and retained in accordance with statutory retention periods. Sometimes we ask you for personal data that is relevant to the situation at hand. This enables us to process your questions and respond to your requests.

3. Forms

The website contains forms that you can use to request information or to contact us about various subjects.

The data you provide to us via these forms is retained for as long as necessary or reasonable for the complete response to and/or handling of your request. Your request may also be included in our e-mail archives and stored there in accordance with statutory retention periods.

Special categories of personal data

Londen & Van Holland only collects special categories of personal data when you provide these voluntarily or when this is required or permitted under laws and regulations. Special categories of personal data include, among other things, data concerning a person’s race, political opinions, religion, beliefs, sexual life or health. Children

Londen & Van Holland understands the importance of protecting the privacy of children, especially in an online environment. Our sites are not intended for or directed at children under the age of 16. Our employees are legally obliged to respect the confidentiality of your data. We also impose this obligation contractually on third parties engaged by us in the performance of our services and activities.

Website visits

When you visit our website, the technical characteristics of your visit are recorded in so-called log files. These include the page requested, IP address, time, browser type and similar data. We do not check which IP address is used at which time, and we therefore do not trace this data back to you personally. These log files are retained solely for analytical purposes for a maximum period of 12 months.

Londen & Van Holland and personal data

Londen & Van Holland takes the protection of personal data very seriously. We have used the General Data Protection Regulation (“GDPR”) as an opportunity to redesign our programme for data protection and data security. The new European legislation has been incorporated into our internal procedures, into the training of employees and into the design of processes, systems and relevant (internal) documentation.
